A rogue thinker back in 1516 There are in any age those who lead the pack in thinking Sir Thomas More bringing the word and idea of Utopia to the masses was one of these people and while it was one of his lesser feats it is still a quirky little idea and his book Utopia has had a readership through out the centeries. Not that More is a personal favorite but this idea of utopia makes so much sense unless you are an elitist, then it's simply loathed. A society where we all are equal and all is made for the betterment of the society not for the profit of individuals. This idea has been around for a while in the circles of humanists through out the ages. The movement is still going but it has become stale to most news outlets so unless you are trolling the web you aren't hearing or reading much about the clashes and standing of ground, yet it is happening. There  veiled by profit growth stats and requisite pay raises for the captains of industry and hidden behind the dull glimmer of barely improving employment figures are the little battles of this quiet riot. Ron Paul,, the likable uncle. I did not watch the televised debate but it was this past weekend and focused on the foreign policy of the republican candidates. What I did get wind of and I am surprised and not surprised at the same time was a tally of the debaters facts, were they right or wrong in the debate. Ron Paul came out front and I can't remember which boob was second. None of that is central to this post. I sat here and thought about Mr. Paul's style and wondered what keeps him from losing it on one of these buffoons? Santorum is the next best thing to Paul but I fear it is simply because the media hasn't tracked him long or hard enough to find that he is as dull C-span on a Sunday.
