Raj Sherman and the Liberals, I personally know of not one person who has ever voted Liberal in this province.
Of course it is not the first thing in a conversation as I have never really been political but have been very close to the "power" all the same.
How random.
So the leader
Yes he is an ER doctor so he surely has a very real frontline view of the health care system.
Without being at all racist Raj's ethnicity gives him a view of Alberta and the world compared only to Allison. He spent the first ten years of life in India and grew up in the lower mainland. He will have a different POV than a white person no matter what his families social position might have been.

Does Raj having no economics degree or a law degree make him more or less appealing?
He probably still works in the emergency ward.
Although I am now a card carrying Green Party member I would like to say I would support the Liberal Party as they seem to have a fresher take on how things should be done but more analysis in a later post.
The Liberals platform is very accessible and user friendly and as you read the points in their platform you see the same stuff covered as the other two big players.
But
I see snippets of a new approach and it warrants further investigation!
